Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2006 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work The Courtship by Adrien Ferdinand de Braekeleer. The price achieved of EUR 5,760.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrien Ferdinand de Braekeleer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Dutch homestead; and The poulterer in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 42,887.50 (€ 68,247.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Courtship von Adrien Ferdinand de Braekeleer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.760,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adrien Ferdinand de Braekeleer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Dutch homestead; and The poulterer im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 42.887,50 (€ 68.247,52).
