Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Church of S.Fosca, Torcello; And Mansfield, Nottinghamshire by Adrian Daintrey was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in March 2005. The price achieved of GBP 108.00 (€ 157.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrian Daintrey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The facade of Annabel's from Berkeley Square (i); and The interior of the Clermont Club (ii) in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,049.81).
