Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Cressida Bell by Adrian George for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,539.87). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Adrian George have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work David Hockney in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,809.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cressida Bell von Adrian George für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.539,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adrian George auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit David Hockney im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.809,71).
