Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work 11 plates with animals from “Piscium vivae icones” by Adriaen Collaert for DKK 4,000.00 (€ 536.49). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaen Collaert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Piscium Vivae Icones – Eine Folge von Fischen und anderen Meerestieren (25 Bll. zuzügl. dem Titelblatt) in November last year with an auction result of EUR 6,731.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 11 plates with animals from “Piscium vivae icones” von Adriaen Collaert für DKK 4.000,00 (€ 536,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adriaen Collaert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Piscium Vivae Icones – Eine Folge von Fischen und anderen Meerestieren (25 Bll. zuzügl. dem Titelblatt) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.731,00.
