A top price for Adrian Allinson - as previously expected
In May 2002 Christies in London held the auction The London Sale, which included the work Static Water at Cumberland Place by Adrian Allinson. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,365.00 (€ 13,099.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Static Water at Cumberland Place is the most expensive artwork by Adrian Allinson that we have observed at auctions so far.
