Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Wooded Landscape With Herders And Their Animals Near A Water Trough by Adriaen van der Cabel was sold in the Old Master & British Works on Paper auction at Sothebys in London in July 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,803.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaen van der Cabel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Landscape With A Bastion in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 71,049.82).

Die Arbeit A Wooded Landscape With Herders And Their Animals Near A Water Trough von Adriaen van der Cabel wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Old Master & British Works on Paper bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.803,46) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
