In the The Classic Sale auction, the work Still life with rabbit, duck and small birds changed hands for SEK 22,000.00 (€ 2,323.44) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaen de Gryef achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Hound Guarding Dead Game Birds, A Stag And A Hare, With Huntsmen In A Landscape; And Hounds With A Dead Swan, Hare And A Boar, With Huntsmen In A Landscape in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 31,700.00 (€ 40,413.02).
