Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work The way home by Adolphe Felix Cals. It changed hands for a price of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,048.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolphe Felix Cals achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bord de Rivière En Hiver in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 16,800.00.

Im März 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit The way home von Adolphe Felix Cals zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.048,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolphe Felix Cals erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bord de Rivière En Hiver im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.800,00.
