This artwork by Adolphe Felix Cals achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in March 2017. In the Gaston Delestre Collection Two Centuries of Family Passion auction, the work Nourrice Tenant Un Enfant Sur Ses Genoux sold for EUR 13,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Adolphe Felix Cals; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Bord de Rivière En Hiver sold at auction in June 2005 with the realized price of EUR 16,800.00.

In der Auktion Gaston Delestre Collection Two Centuries of Family Passion wurde die Arbeit Nourrice Tenant Un Enfant Sur Ses Genoux für EUR 13.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Adolphe Felix Cals; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Bord de Rivière En Hiver im Juni 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 16.800,00.
