Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Buste De Jeune Femme, Bras Pliés Sur La Poitrine by Adolphe Felix Cals for EUR 1,375.00. This price was achieved in the auction Collection Violette de Talleyrand, Duchesse de Sagan, Former collection Gaston Palewski at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolphe Felix Cals achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bord de Rivière En Hiver in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 16,800.00.

Im März 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Buste De Jeune Femme, Bras Pliés Sur La Poitrine von Adolphe Felix Cals für EUR 1.375,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Collection Violette de Talleyrand, Duchesse de Sagan, Former collection Gaston Palewski bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolphe Felix Cals erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bord de Rivière En Hiver im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.800,00.
