In May 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction European Art, which included the work French l'Aurore by Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel. The auction ended at the price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,149.88), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Baptism of the Condé in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 248,000.00 (€ 292,246.05).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French l'Aurore von Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.149,88) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Baptism of the Condé im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 248.000,00 (€ 292.246,05).
