In the European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work At The Swordsmith'S sold for USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,567.46) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolphe Alexandre Lesrel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baptism of the Condé in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 248,000.00 (€ 292,246.05).
