This artwork by Adolphe Rudolph Hiremy-Hirschl achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2017. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work Hungarian the Birth Of Venus sold for GBP 52,500.00 (€ 59,787.70) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Adolphe Rudolph Hiremy-Hirschl; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ahasuerus (The Wandering Jew) sold at auction in May 2004 with the realized price of AUD 119,500.00 (€ 69,820.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adolphe Rudolph Hiremy-Hirschl erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings wurde die Arbeit Hungarian the Birth Of Venus für GBP 52.500,00 (€ 59.787,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Adolphe Rudolph Hiremy-Hirschl; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ahasuerus (The Wandering Jew) im Mai 2004 mit dem Hammerpreis von AUD 119.500,00 (€ 69.820,00).
