A top price for Adolf Bachmann - as previously expected
In May 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Swis the Bosphorus, From The Asian Side by Adolf Bachmann. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,299.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Swis the Bosphorus, From The Asian Side is the most expensive artwork by Adolf Bachmann that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Swis the Bosphorus, From The Asian Side von Adolf Bachmann zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.299,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Swis the Bosphorus, From The Asian Side das teuerste Kunstwerk von Adolf Bachmann, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
