Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Adi Nes could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Israeli and International Art auction, the work Untitled, From Soldier Series changed hands for USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,470.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adi Nes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 377,000.00 (€ 273,604.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adi Nes konnte im Dezember 2008 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Israeli and International Art wechselte die Arbeit Untitled, From Soldier Series für USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.470,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adi Nes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 377.000,00 (€ 273.604,76).
