Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Christies in Paris held the auction Icons of Glamour & Style : The Constantiner Collection, which included the work Untitled, de la série 'The soldiers', 1999 by Adi Nes. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adi Nes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 377,000.00 (€ 273,604.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Icons of Glamour & Style : The Constantiner Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, de la série 'The soldiers', 1999 von Adi Nes zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adi Nes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 377.000,00 (€ 273.604,76).
