In November 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Still Life with Flowers by Adelheid Dietrich. The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 29,733.15) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adelheid Dietrich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life with Flowers in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 187,318.81).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers von Adelheid Dietrich zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 29.733,15) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adelheid Dietrich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 187.318,81).
