Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Floral Still Life by Adelheid Dietrich was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,205.38). Admittedly, works by Adelheid Dietrich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life with Flowers in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 187,318.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Floral Still Life von Adelheid Dietrich im Mai 2015 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.205,38) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adelheid Dietrich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 187.318,81).
