This artwork by Adam McEwen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in 7 - in December this year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York auction, the work without title sold for USD 1,080.00 (€ 976.32) - well above the upper estimate of USD 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adam McEwen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Oasis Water Fountain in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 437,000.00 (€ 320,381.23).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Adam McEwen erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 7 - einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 1.080,00 (€ 976,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adam McEwen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Oasis Water Fountain im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 437.000,00 (€ 320.381,23).
