Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections, which included the work The Table by Adam Henein. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,981.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adam Henein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Om Kalthoum in November last year with an auction result of GBP 189,300.00 (€ 219,355.48).
