This artwork by Adam Henein achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November last year. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale auction, the work Om Kalthoum sold for GBP 189,300.00 (€ 219,355.48) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 100,000.00. This high result makes Om Kalthoum the most expensive artwork by Adam Henein that we have observed at auctions so far.
