The work Owl by Adam Henein was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art auction at Bonhams in London in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 69,600.00 (€ 81,877.77), 39% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adam Henein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Om Kalthoum, which sold at auction in November last year for GBP 189,300.00 (€ 219,355.48).

Die Arbeit Owl von Adam Henein wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 69.600,00 (€ 81.877,77) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Adam Henein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Om Kalthoum beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für GBP 189.300,00 (€ 219.355,48) versteigert wurde.
