Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Man with Fish by Adam Henein. The price achieved of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 59,207.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 45,000.00 – 55,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adam Henein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Om Kalthoum, which sold at auction in November last year for GBP 189,300.00 (€ 219,355.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Man with Fish von Adam Henein zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 59.207,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 45.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Adam Henein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Om Kalthoum beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für GBP 189.300,00 (€ 219.355,48) versteigert wurde.
