The work Verschoven Kwadraten (Shifted Squares) by Ad Dekkers was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,875.00 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ad Dekkers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 108,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Verschoven Kwadraten (Shifted Squares) von Ad Dekkers wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.875,00 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ad Dekkers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 108.750,00.
