The work Houtgrafiek No. VIII by Ad Dekkers was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2018. It achieved a price of EUR 27,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ad Dekkers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 108,750.00.

Die Arbeit Houtgrafiek No. VIII von Ad Dekkers kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 27.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Ad Dekkers mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Reliëf Met Afgeschuinde Blokjes - Relief With Bevelled Blocks beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 108.750,00 versteigert wurde.
