Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Tropol by Achille Perilli was auctioned at Christies in Paris in December this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,008.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Achille Perilli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Oracolo Ritrovatosigned And Dated 60, Signed, Titled And Dated 1960 On The Reverse, Oil On Canvas. This Work Is Registered In The Archivio Achille Perilli, Rome, Under N. 46/1960. This Work Is Accompanied By A Photograph Signed By The Artist. in April 2018 with an auction result of EUR 58,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Tropol von Achille Perilli im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.008,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Achille Perilli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Oracolo Ritrovatosigned And Dated 60, Signed, Titled And Dated 1960 On The Reverse, Oil On Canvas.
