In November 2012 Christies in London held the auction Vintage Posters, which included the work Jersey by Abram Games. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,463.80), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abram Games - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Join The Ats, which sold at auction in April 2012 for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,365.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Vintage Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jersey von Abram Games zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.463,80) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Abram Games mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Join The Ats beobachtet, die im April 2012 für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.365,82) versteigert wurde.
