Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Abraham Weinbaum achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2011. In the Ecole de Paris 1905-1939 auction, the work Nature Morte Aux Pommes, Circa 1930 sold for EUR 6,375.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Abraham Weinbaum; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Violoniste De Rue sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of EUR 8,450.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Abraham Weinbaum erzielte im März 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Ecole de Paris 1905-1939 wurde die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Pommes, Circa 1930 für EUR 6.375,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Abraham Weinbaum; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Violoniste De Rue im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 8.450,00.
