In February 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Living With Art, which included the work Abstraction by Abraham Walkowitz. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,125.00 (€ 1,035.15), 61% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Walkowitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cityscape in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,270.61).

Im Februar 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Living With Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstraction von Abraham Walkowitz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 1.035,15) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Walkowitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cityscape im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.270,61).
