In December 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work The Via Appia Near Formia, With Travellers And Peasants By The Walls Of Castellone(?), The Bay Of Gaeta And Mount Circeo Beyond; And A Port With Maltese Merchants And Sailors, The Fort Of Gaeta Beyond by Abraham-Louis-Rodolphe Ducros. The result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,456.49) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00.
