The work An extensive view of the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine, with figures in the foreground by Abraham-Louis-Rodolphe Ducros was sold in the Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900 auction at Christies in London in July last year. It achieved a price of GBP 20,160.00 (€ 24,074.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham-Louis-Rodolphe Ducros achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Via Appia Near Formia, With Travellers And Peasants By The Walls Of Castellone (?), The Bay Of Gaeta And Mount Circeo Beyond; And A Port With Maltese Merchants And Sailors Making Music And Dancing, The Fort Of Gaeta Beyond in July 2001 with an auction result of GBP 168,750.00 (€ 274,797.19).

Die Arbeit An extensive view of the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine, with figures in the foreground von Abraham-Louis-Rodolphe Ducros wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900 bei Christies in London versteigert. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Via Appia Near Formia, With Travellers And Peasants By The Walls Of Castellone (?), The Bay Of Gaeta And Mount Circeo Beyond; And A Port With Maltese Merchants And Sailors Making Music And Dancing, The Fort Of Gaeta Beyond im Juli 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 168.750,00 (€ 274.797,19).
