Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Three Dogs Attacking A Crane In A Landscape by Abraham Danielsz. Hondius was sold in the Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners auction at Sothebys in London in September 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,667.24). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Danielsz. Hondius achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sportsman Offered Refreshment Outside An Inn While His Dogs Rest After The Hunt in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 138,478.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Hondius wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.667,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Danielsz. Hondius erzielen.
