The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,349.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Danielsz. Hondius achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sportsman Offered Refreshment Outside An Inn While His Dogs Rest After The Hunt in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 138,478.58).
