Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Baptism Of Christ by Abraham Bloemaert for USD 81,900.00 (€ 70,318.54). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Abraham Bloemaert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Mythological Scene, Perhaps Venus And Cupid in January 2013 with an auction result of USD 434,500.00 (€ 319,861.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Baptism Of Christ von Abraham Bloemaert für USD 81.900,00 (€ 70.318,54) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Master Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abraham Bloemaert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Mythological Scene, Perhaps Venus And Cupid im Januar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 434.500,00 (€ 319.861,60).
