This artwork by Abraham Bloemaert achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in January 2020. In the Old Master Drawings auction, the work A Thatched Shed In A Hilly Region: A Woodcutter And Resting Peasants In The Foreground sold for USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,297.76) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00.
