Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A farmhouse by Abraham Bloemaert was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,512.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Bloemaert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Mythological Scene, Perhaps Venus And Cupid in January 2013 with an auction result of USD 434,500.00 (€ 319,861.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A farmhouse von Abraham Bloemaert kam im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.512,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Bloemaert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Mythological Scene, Perhaps Venus And Cupid im Januar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 434.500,00 (€ 319.861,60).
