Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction African Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre, 2001 by Abiodun Olaku. The price achieved of EUR 3,900.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abiodun Olaku have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Elemental Notes" in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 14,000.00 (€ 16,446.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion African Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2001 von Abiodun Olaku zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.900,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abiodun Olaku auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Elemental Notes" im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.000,00 (€ 16.446,39).
