Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary African Art, which included the work 'Reclamation' (Power to the People) by Abiodun Olaku. The price achieved of GBP 9,437.50 (€ 10,479.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Abiodun Olaku have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2021 the work "Elemental Notes" was auctioned for GBP 14,000.00 (€ 16,446.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Reclamation' (Power to the People) von Abiodun Olaku zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.437,50 (€ 10.479,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Abiodun Olaku konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2021 die Arbeit "Elemental Notes" für GBP 14.000,00 (€ 16.446,39) versteigert.
