In January 2013 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Cattle And Sheep In A Landscape by Abel Hold. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,167.26) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abel Hold achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape with Cows and Peasants in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 14,100.00 (€ 15,148.26).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cattle And Sheep In A Landscape von Abel Hold zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.167,26) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abel Hold erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape with Cows and Peasants im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.100,00 (€ 15.148,26).
