Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work James Rosenquist, Arepika, Florida by Abe Frajndlich for USD 600.00 (€ 437.60). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Abe Frajndlich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „Art Blakey, Sweet Basil′s, New York City, April 20, 1986“. in May 2014 with an auction result of EUR 2,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit James Rosenquist, Arepika, Florida von Abe Frajndlich für USD 600,00 (€ 437,60) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abe Frajndlich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „Art Blakey, Sweet Basil′s, New York City, April 20, 1986“. im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.375,00.
