Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art / Arab & Iranian, which included the work Men At Work (Time Magazine Person Of The Year 2003: The American Soldier) by Abdulnasser Gharem. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 36,165.93). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abdulnasser Gharem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Message/Messenger in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 842,500.00 (€ 568,450.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art / Arab & Iranian durch, in der auch die Arbeit Men At Work (Time Magazine Person Of The Year 2003: The American Soldier) von Abdulnasser Gharem zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 31.250,00 (€ 36.165,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abdulnasser Gharem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Message/Messenger im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 842.500,00 (€ 568.450,17).
