In October 2013 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part II, which included the work Al Siraat (The Path) by Abdulnasser Gharem. The auction ended at the price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,712.37), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abdulnasser Gharem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Message/Messenger in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 842,500.00 (€ 568,450.17).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Al Siraat (The Path) von Abdulnasser Gharem zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.712,37) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abdulnasser Gharem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Message/Messenger im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 842.500,00 (€ 568.450,17).
