Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Chicago Burlesque by Aaron Bohrod. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,028.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aaron Bohrod - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Street Car Riders, which sold at auction in May 2021 for USD 27,812.50 (€ 22,808.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chicago Burlesque von Aaron Bohrod zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.028,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Aaron Bohrod mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Street Car Riders beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für USD 27.812,50 (€ 22.808,35) versteigert wurde.
