A top price for A-Lei - as previously expected
In October 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Observant On Earth(Executed In 2018) by A-Lei. The price achieved of HKD 56,640.00 (€ 6,473.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Observant On Earth(Executed In 2018) is the most expensive artwork by A-Lei that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Observant On Earth(Executed In 2018) von A-Lei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.640,00 (€ 6.473,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Observant On Earth(Executed In 2018) das teuerste Kunstwerk von A-Lei, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
