Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2020 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Biceps Brachii Of The Owl(Executed In 2019) by A-Lei. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 29,500.00 (€ 3,188.25), 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by A-Lei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Observant On Earth(Executed In 2018), which sold at auction in October 2019 for HKD 56,640.00 (€ 6,473.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2020 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Biceps Brachii Of The Owl(Executed In 2019) von A-Lei zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 29.500,00 (€ 3.188,25) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von A-Lei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Observant On Earth(Executed In 2018) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für HKD 56.640,00 (€ 6.473,87) versteigert wurde.
