Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Victorian Paintings, which included the work Another tough decision by A. L. Grace. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,771.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by A. L. Grace have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2004 the work The Chelsea pensioners band practice was auctioned for GBP 2,151.00 (€ 3,219.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Victorian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Another tough decision von A. L. Grace zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.771,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von A. L. Grace konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2004 die Arbeit The Chelsea pensioners band practice für GBP 2.151,00 (€ 3.219,85) versteigert.
