I was born in Heidenheim, studied German and Art at the Univeristy of Education in Ludwigsburg and Schwäbisch Gmünd and taught both subjects form 1976 to 2001.

I hab been working as freelance artist since 2001.

Already during my teaching career I attended varios academies to further my education (Salzburg, Bad Reichenhall, Augsburg ,,,).

My early works mainly were pencil drawings and oil paintings. As I am always looking for new challenges, I extended my artistic spectrum to other disciplines. Thus, the path to sculpure in the moreclassical sense led my to rathe. In addition to drawing and painting, I am always interested in finding a thre-dimensional answer to a theme.
