Modern, contemporary art and current designs characterize the stands of artmonte-carlo. The high-profile art fair regularly invites prestigious galleries to Monaco, where artmonte-carlo is being held for the seventh time this year. Traditionally, the fair also includes the awarding of the prix artmonte-carlo F.P.Journe, whose winner is chosen by a three-member jury, and an art exhibition on a yacht in the port of Monaco. Artist's Talks, other curated exhibitions and a Claude Monet retrospective round out the program. If you don't want to miss it, head to Monaco's Monte-Carlo district on July 8 and 9.

The artmonte-carlo is a sister fair of the artgenève, which as a contrast always opens its doors in winter. The next time will be at the end of January 2024 for the twelfth edition. Both fairs are directed by Thomas Hug. However, artmonte-carlo is not limited to the one weekend: International art events associated with the fair also take place during the rest of the year. These include the rendez-vous series in Paris, Nice, Monaco and Menton. Dive deeper into the art world

Till Schermer

Is our personality just an illusion? Till Schermer's paintings open up a new perspective on the fragmented human psyche. In intense, sometimes disturbing images, the artist presents the protagonists of our mental society - perhaps the start of an adventure for one's own mind.
