December 19, 2023

The winter exhibition at the Centro Cultural San Clemente features two well-known artists: Daniel Garbade and Moisès Gil present their thought-provoking works. The painter and the sculptor deal with the complex everyday life of modern man, with the challenges that every individual has to overcome and which are sometimes very far removed from natural obstacles: people often stand in the way of themselves and other people. The Seasons of Art runs from December 19, 2023 to March 15, 2024.

Daniel Garbade is a Swiss-Cuban artist, born in Zurich in 1957 and a Spanish citizen since 2023. He has lived in Spain almost continuously since 1983. Garbade worked as a prop master in film at a young age, later devoting himself to painting in the style of Pop Art and Post-Expressionism. He achieved particular fame in 2006 with a painting of the naked Pope Benedict XVI. The Spanish sculptor Moisès Gil was born in 1963 and is one of the most sought-after Spanish artists in this medium. The professor of sculpture in Valencia won his first art prize at the age of 19.Art.Salon
