October 19, 2023

Digitalization, VR and AI are currently on everyone's lips. A cultural festival with these focal points should not be missing: DIGITAL ART ZURICH (DA Z) meets these requirements now for the fourth year in a row. Art exhibitions, performances, talks, virtual reality, NFT workshops and concerts will take place at various locations such as the Wasserkirche, the Kunsthaus, the Museum für Gestaltung and the 25Hours Hotel Zürich West. Everything revolves around the global influence of digitalization and the changes for people's everyday lives. A program overview is listed here. The festival runs from October 19 to 29.

The DA Z festival was held for the first time under the sign of the pandemic in October 2020. Despite difficult organizational circumstances, the team brought the premiere to success, and since then it has been held every year. Artists are invited to the festival by the DA Z team in collaboration with international advisors; it is not possible to apply for participation. Only works that are exhibited for the first time within the framework of the DA Z or are not older than two years and have never been seen in Switzerland will be presented. The festival is an initiative of the association DIGITAL ARTS AND SCIENCES SWITZERLAND (DA/S).Art.Salon

London, Tate Britain

It was one of the most moving decades in the history of the United Kingdom: the 1980s, characterized by strikes, protests and AIDS. Photographers documented this period and in some cases became political activists themselves through their images. The exhibition The 80s: Photographing Britain opens on November 21 at the Tate Britain in London.
